The front-clip changes the point of leverage because the leash is attached to the front of the dog. If they pull the effect is that the leash gives a tug on their chest to the side, therefore turning the dog toward you and not allowing them to move forward.

So if they pull, they get turned. And if they turn, they aren’t heading forward which is where they want to be going and why they are pulling.

Our Navigator Harnes can be machined washed but try hand washing first. If machine washing, use only the 'gentle' cycle WITHOUT spin. Please Do NOT use detergents or other solvents such as bleach or degreaser. Use ONLY mild soaps.

First, you will need to measure your dog and get the key measurements (Neck and Chest). Then you can compare it with the size chart we provided in the product description.

Our labs are 4yrs old and we purchased the harness for them after they turned one. We are thinking about replacing them only because of them getting a bit bigger. They wash well and have held up great for 3 mile walks 6-days a week.

This harness fits my boy perfectly. He gets so excited when I put it on him. I’m able to take him for walks and control him without choking if he tries to run where it is not safe. He’s also a big sniffer. I can use the handle to gently lift him and move him away from something he has smelled entirely too long. Lol!

This harness is badass, I love it for my dog Shadow. The adjustments make it easy to fit Shadow nice and snug. I used the size chart to make sure I was getting the right size so that definitely helped out. The cushion on the front and back of the harness is also nice and it seems to be comfortable for her. It also has 2 rings where you can attach the leash. I also like how many different colors it comes in. If you're looking for a great harness that'll look good on your dog, I'd recommend this one for sure!

this product is built to last,, not a cheaply made harness like you might get on Amazon. It's easy to put on my dog, easy to adjust. I would recommend it to others.

First thing I liked was the price - about half (or less) of what is being charged for other harnesses that get high praise in the "best _______ of 2023” websites. It's well constructed, strong, easy to adjust, and it holds Gina, securely - besides which, she loves it - she runs to the door, wagging her whole body, whenever I pick it up.

One nice feature, the loop on top of the back sticks up more than on the previous harness - enough that whichever way she turns, the leash no longer gets wrapped aroung her, it stays on top.
