The easiest method of measuring the chest circumference of your dog is by using a flexible measuring tape placed directly behind the front legs at the broadest part of the chest. The tape should be fairly tight without actually restricting the dog. The correct harness size is determined by taking into account both the circumference of the chest and the neck. See sizing chart and average sizing of popular breeds.

The front-clip changes the point of leverage because the leash is attached to the front of the dog. If they pull the effect is that the leash gives a tug on their chest to the side, therefore turning the dog toward you and not allowing them to move forward. So if they pull, they get turned. And if they turn, they aren’t heading forward which is where they want to be going and why they are pulling.

One Paw harnesses can be machined washed but try hand washing first. If machine washing, use only the 'gentle' cycle WITHOUT spin. Do NOT use detergents or other solvents such as bleach or degreaser. Use ONLY mild soaps.

We would recommend simply hand wash it with gentle soap, rinse well and let it air dry. Putting it through a washing machine and dryer may reduce its useful life.

First, you need to measure your dog and get the key measurements (Neck and Chest). Then you can compare it with the size chart we provided in the product description

 It's really difficult to find something to fit my cane corso. I ordered the extra large and it fits with tons of room. He doesn't pull as much either. It seems sturdy and for the price you can't go wrong.

UPDATE
we've been using this vest for awhile now and it's held up pretty good considering my dog is such a heavy puller. He absolutely loves it, as soon as I get it out he knows he's going for a walk. I can get it to fit snugly which I find helps with his anxiety. We will continue to buy more in the future.

Harness is as expected. Compared to others brands previously purchased, this one seems to have engineering thought into it. Dog is not hasseled with it. Dog walks comfortably and doesn’t bother having it on. Size is perfect and has enough adjustments to adapt +/- 1 size. 1star taken off, adjustment straps tend to loosen over time

 have been using a nose lead gentle leader since she was a pup. now she is two and still pulls like mad . put this harness on her and wow she walks normally. best thing I ever bought. use the D ring on the breast . seems kinda lightly sewn in , but no problems over three months . I also hook her up to her choker chain as a back up regardless of the leash I use. .thought it was time she carried some of our crap around on walks . bought the matching saddle bags . absolutely fantastic. small yet good for extras like poop bags , wallet, keys , phone. ect. back of harness carried her water bottle . well made comfortable . I highly recommend .
