Our Rover Harness weighs between 4.6 and 8 ounces depending on size, which is roughly the weight of two to four eggs. It should be comfortable for any dog wearing it.
We are happy to say that large dogs can use our Rover Harness safely. The leash has been tested in an authorized testing lab and was rated at 1,148 N (117 Kgf). This means our harness can pull something as heavy as a 1-ton truck.
We intentionally made it 5 feet to provide optimal control while avoiding any unexpected incidents, such as wrap-arounds due to an overexcited pup.
When the safety stop function is activated, the stopper inside of the harness makes a quiet ‘click’ sound. This audible click can be used as a training device to teach their dog not to pull on the leash.
