The front-clip changes the point of leverage because the leash is attached to the front of the dog. If they pull the effect is that the leash gives a tug on their chest to the side, therefore turning the dog toward you and not allowing them to move forward. So if they pull, they get turned. And if they turn, they aren’t heading forward which is where they want to be going and why they are pulling.

Our Explorer Harness can be machined washed but try hand washing first. If machine washing, please use only the 'gentle' cycle WITHOUT spin. Please do NOT use detergents or other solvents such as bleach or degreaser. Use ONLY mild soaps.

This is so easy to put in our puppy and he learned how to walk from day 1 on it, he walks very well using the back loop (the one on the front he hasn't quite figured out how to use but he isn't a puller, yet!)

Follow size guide, my doggo has a big chest but relatively small neck (Pug / Shiz Tzu mix). I selected the size that out his measurements towards the middle of the range, best I could. Overall size ended up perfect for him. Only has it a few weeks, seems well made and is super easy to put on the little dude. Looks good too!
